It's an extension to the existing Sculpture Trail  and aims to encourage wider exploration of the site in the north-western part of Rushmere Country Park and includes sculptures of the Green Tiger Beetle, Common Lizard, Great Spotted Woodpecker and a Damselfly, created by sculptor Ian Freemantle. The site also has a fully accessible Sculpture Trail, an excellent visitor centre and a nice cafe for refreshments after your exercise. Interpretation panels have been installed to highlight the trail and the conservation management work within the Oak Wood part of the site, produced by Bedfordshire-based designers Redfoot. Becoming involved in conservation work, whether it be practical management, surveying wildlife or helping other people learn more about their environment is an enjoyable and rewarding way of spending your time and putting something back into your local countryside.
